Hooz Ray Sin is the racing team set up by me, James Perrott, to support my own modest ray sin ambitions. Welcome.

2007 has seen another year of success for me in the Kumho BMW Racing Drivers Championship. In a new car, my BMW e36 M3 EVO, I managed to take the Class A championship at my first attempt.

Going into the last meeting of the season at Silverstone at the end of September I held a narrow points lead from Garrie Whittaker and Dan Stringfellow. After missing qualifying with a technical problem I had to start the first race from the back of the grid. However, the wet weather gave me the opportunity to climb to 5th by the end of the first lap and 3rd by the end of the second. A trip through the gravel whilst battling Dan for 2nd place on the third lap led me to calm down a little and I ended up settling for 4th place.

That left me needing only to finish in the second race. After being hit on the first corner and suffering a rubbing tyre I thought that even a finish was beyond me. Luckily though I managed to bring it home with a slow puncture and I clinched the championship.

Building on previous class C championships in 2005 and 2006, this year in class A has shown me that I can compete successfully at the front of the grid. Next year's objective is to win more races and set more lap records.
